Behind the Company
Artifex Master Builder, Inc. and Afable Arkitektura are an integrated design-and-build firm based in Las Piñas City, Philippines. Founded in 2007 by Architect Bernardo Singian Afable, Jr., the company is built on creativity, quality, and service.
The name Artifex—Latin for “artist” or “craftsman”—reflects the firm’s blend of design and construction expertise. Its four-arrowed blue star emblem symbolizes direction, sincerity, and spiritual values.
From homes and commercial spaces to terminals and religious buildings, the firm delivers full-spectrum solutions. Afable Arkitektura leads architectural design efforts, working closely with Artifex on seamless project execution. Notable works include the Sacred Heart Hospital concept in Cebu City.

Ar. Bernardo S. Afable is a UP Diliman graduate and holds a Master of Arts in Urban Design (with distinction) from the National University of Singapore, where he also won international design competitions. His Expertise spans architecture, master planning, urban design, and road networks.
